This is a grade specially developed fort he Japanese market, where the colour is predominant for cast nylons. Whilst many blue coloured cast nylons are available from one source or another, the stringent requirements of the Japanese has led to the development of ZE-EP-15, which meets all the tests criteria imposed upon it. In addition to the specialised pigment compound used in its processing are both U.V. blocking and heat stabilising substances, which enable the material to better retain its mechanical properties at higher operating temperatures than would otherwise be the case in their absence.
ZE-EP-20 (yellow)
ZE-EP-20 is a somewhat specialised grade of nylon used mainly in applications, where post-process shrinkage must kept to a minimum. In comparison to other PA 6, ZE-EP-20 has a much higher flexibility. ZE-EP-10 is employed where additional resilience in a specific requirement for application, for instance in the ball valve industry, where the application of valve seat seals benefits greatly from this material.
ZE-EP-30 (black)
ZE-EP-30 is a cast nylon 6 material in which improved crystallisation occurs by the addition of Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS2). On account of this the superficial hardness increased (providing excellent machine ability) and simultaneously the general mechanical and anti-friction properties are improved. Due to this, ZE-EP-30 reaches the requirements of modern constructions.
ZE-EP-40 (outer appearance similar to ZE-EP 10 S)
Developed exclusively for sliding wear pad and linear bearing components ZE-EP-40 demonstrates remarkably low dynamic and static coefficient of friction properties, resulting in the virtual elimination of stick/slip and vibration problems. This groundbreaking material sets a new standard for abrasion resistance and component performance, perfectly complimenting the existing lubricated range.
